What’s Involved


The KonMari Method®, created by Japanese tidying expert Marie Kondo, is a mindful and respectful approach to decluttering, focused on keeping only the things that truly spark joy. Whether it’s happy memories, genuine usefulness, or deep personal meaning, we make space for what matters most.

Instead of tidying room by room, we work by category, starting with clothes, then books, papers, miscellaneous items (komono), and finally, sentimental belongings. This helps build decision-making skills, reduce overwhelm, and avoid simply shifting clutter from one place to another. You can even break categories down further to go at a pace that feels right for you.

At its heart, this method is about connection, to your home, your things, and yourself. We thank and let go of what no longer serves you, and give it the chance to bring joy elsewhere. What’s left is a space that reflects your lifestyle, values, and brings clarity, calm, and comfort.
